Channing Nesbitt joined Tableau Foundation in 2019 and currently works as a Social Impact Program Manager. He co-leads the Racial Justice Data Initiative and leads the team driving the Racial Equity Data Hub. Within these roles, Channing works with organizations who focus on using data to combat systemic racism by advancing equity in education, economic opportunity, political empowerment, and justice reform.
Channing also helps manage the success of all Tableau Foundation non-profit partners through formal Tableau training and enablement efforts. Channing joined Tableau Foundation while completing his master’s degree in public administration from the Evans School at the University of Washington. This experience formed his knowledge of public-private partnerships, social impact, and innovation, and now guides his work in corporate philanthropy.
